From the moment I walked into the Purple Lotus, I felt like they'd known me for years. I needed a memorial tattoo for fallen law enforcement, so I presented about 60 percent of what I had in mind (knowing the artist's creative juices would envision the rest). Alejandro's artwork is absolutely stunning, and the detail is immaculate. I have many tattoos from other places, but Shavon's Purple Lotus shop is the best place that I've ever been to. I came to her with an impossible idea of a rib and shoulder piece. Just an incredible experience. During the initial consultation Shevon was genuinely interested in my concept and made several suggestions and sketches. The final art work changed dramatically from the original concept, and I couldn't be happier. Her guidance and talent helped an idea evolve into a beautiful work of art, it's awsome. A while back, our family planned a memorial tattoo event to honor the people in our lives that we have lost. In honor of my father-in-law, whom we lost a couple of years ago, our family decided on dream catchers. In October 2008 our three daughters received their tattoos at the Purple Lotus. Shavon and her staff did such a great job! My mom and I actually went in to get tattoos together. Neither of us knew what we wanted to get and both of us were a bit nervous since we had never gotten a tattoo before. Not only did Shavon take the time to help us figure out what we wanted (she even designed something specifically for my mom), but she also calmed both our nerves, especially mine! This was the first tattoo I've ever had. I was very nervous about the whole experience until I met Shavon. She was absolutely fantastic and so fun to work with! The rest of the staff was great too making sure I had a good experience and wasnt nervous.I will go back to Shavon for my next tattoo! It was a great experience!!

This is my fifth Tatoo, but the first at the Purple Lotus. The attention to detail was superb, and it's by far the best work i've ever had.
