This was an excellent place. I got a celtic shamrock on my foot by Shavon. The transition of the art from her mind to my body was phenomenal. The colors, details and dimensions are great. She definitly has great ideas and know how to bring them out in the form of a tattoo. I absolutely love my design. She nailed it the perfect way for me. I love the studio too. It is very neatly decorated. I love it. I can't wait to go back!
Shavon, You are the best! I took an idea to Shavon and she created a work of art. Using my body as her canvas, she created a masterpiece!! IF, I get another tattoo, Shavon will definitely be the artist to do it. Rick and Shavon are friendly and make you feel very welcome. After spending several hours in the studio, I not only got a tattoo, but also made new friends! Can't wait to come see y'all again!!! Thank you for doing such a great job!!!
I'm new to the Columbia area and only here for about a month (military), I stumbled across the shop on the net so decided to pay a visit. Shavon was great. So friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Today was just the consultation so I can't wait to actually get the work done. I will say this though, she goes above and beyond..I had my 2 year old daughter with me and she was a bit tired so she was fussy...Shavon had goldfish crackers and temporary tattoos waiting for her. I was going in on a whim to get my first (and only) tattoo! It was an awesome experience!! I felt very comfortable the whole time I was there and left very very satisfied. They take pride in getting you exactly what you want because it is so permanent!! Shavon and Alex are awesome!!
Shavon designed me a 'Death of Rats' and a 'Snitch' from two of my favorite fantasy series. The tattoos are perfect, look terrific, and went above and beyond what I had thought. The entire experience at Purple Lotus, was amazing. Shavon was very easy to converse with and anticipated what I wanted out of my vague descriptions of my tattoos very well. Terrific. Amazing. Awesome. Wonderful.
My experience at Purple Lotus was in short Fabulous. This was my first tattoo and needless to say I was pretty nervous about finding the perfect place to get it done. WE haven never been so happy with a tattoo's. My best friend and I had been talking about getting a new tattoo (and she wanted to cover up one). We had never had a tattoo shop want a consultation session first. . . .but it was great! It gave us the time to sit down with Shavon and explain what we wanted and then listen to what she thought. I got my tattoo about 4 weeks ago it was my middle Landon in old English over my right rib cage... It was my first tattoo and a 21st birthday present to myself... Shavon made me feel very comfortable and even joked around with me a little... My tattoo looks great and i can not wait to get another one...
