Great Experience! This was my 3rd tattoo and I soooo wish I had found Shavon before now. Don't stress over your design, go in for a consultation and let her sit down and get to know you. Before you know it she is getting inspired about who you are and she starts her design for you. She is a great person and has won my husband and I over for life! Shavon is an exceptional artist and the environment in Purple Lotus is warm and friendly. I walked in and wanted a ton of work done in a very short time and Shavon worked me in and made my ideas into works of art. I have nothing but positive remarks for my experience and I intend to come back for all my future tattooing needs.
Shavon is super talented. She was willing to take time to help me design a unique tattoo and uber patient with me during the process. She is confident and her work is impeccable. She only uses natural ink which was really important to me and my wimpy skin. I reccomend her to anyone who tells me that they are interested in getting another tattoo.
I lost my wedding ring and wanted to get something a little harder to lose :) However, I am not creative at all...so I had no idea what to get done. I did some research online and found all the great reviews for Purple Lotus. I went in and Shavon was great. She listened to my few crazy ideas and let me know what would and would not work. the best tattoo i have ever gotten...if you want a tattoo this is the place to go..there is no where else period!!!....i enjoyed my tattoo experience so much...the people there are so kind and they feel like family after being there for like 30 mins..it is crazy.... I went to Purple Lotus to get one of the most intricate tattoos that I have on my body. Its also one of the most personal. Not only did she do the research on every symbol on my charm anklet...she also put it together in such a way that I never expected. This was my first tattoo.I read and reviewed all the salons in Columbia area.I didn't want to go to Georgia.We took our 18 year old daughter to get hers there and it was not what I was expecting unorganized and had to wait 30 minutes on the tattoo person. The shop is always very welcoming and clean. The tattoo rooms are separated from each artist so it's not cluttered and you get the feeling that you can just relax while getting your work done. All of the employees are very nice and are more than willing to give advice if you have questions on color or size of a piece. The ink is high quality and the tattoos heal nicely and quickly.
