I just got my first tattoo for my 45th birthday, and I have to say that the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. Shavon designed a beautiful piece of art for my lower back and it is striking. I received my very first tattoo on Saturday from Shavon. When I told her what I wanted, I had no idea it would've looked as good as it did. Shavon is very talented and always makes sure you're comfortable and the design is what you want, because once it's on there, it's permanent.

I went to this place based on all of the awesome reviews but come to find out they are apparently written by the buddies that hang out in the shop all day. While I was there, several buddies were actually talking about how many times they had gone to Yellowpages.com and left good reviews. Shavon is inconceivably unprofessional. I went to get my very first tattoo at Shavon's Purple Lotus Body Art. It was an amazing experience! I was always a little bit weary of tattoo parlors, but at Shavon’s the atmosphere is friendly, inviting, and relaxing. I came in with a design and Shavon made it a million times better.
