I would Highly recommend Dr. Castro and the Southwood Medical center excellent service a the seem to care about their patients
A genuine caring physician. She takes time to explain blood work and other related concerns. I am completely at ease talking with her. Recommend her highly.
I have been going to CRMG at Southwood for a couple of years and have been seeing Dr. Castro the past 6 months or so. She explains well (so that the regular guy can understand), is personable so you are at ease, listens to your problem(s) or concern(s). I am comfortable with her as my personal physician (and i'm a little picky on that) else would not be her patient. The staff is great, can discuss any issues with scheduling, billing and they work at it to get resolved. Seems I'm out of room.
Dr. Castro is an excellent GP. She is knowledgeable, explains what is going on with you and is caring. A very pleasant lady. She is what you want in a GP.

Dr. Castro takes the time to listen before she discusses her approach to your treatment and care. The office staff is always pleasant and helpful, and the office is exceptionally clean and welcoming.
Dr Castro listens to my concerns, discusses with me, the course of action that best works for me. Having relocated to Florida I needed to find a new doctor in the area that would listen to me about what treatments I know work for me. Highly recommend Dr. Castro.
I am very pleased with my decision to make Dr. Shamil Castro my primary care provider. Dr. Castro is warm and friendly, very thorough, and answers all questions not only in detail, but in a way that I can understand.
I recently visited W/Dr. Shamil Castro. I was a 1st visit as my Dr. is retiring, but she also had to do a physical with very little time. She covered all areas brought to her attention as well as brought up some areas about which I had not previously been concerned.
