Est. 1981 Shallos is the Midwest's purveyor of rare and Exotic brews. We stock over 500 different beers through out the year. We have 38 different beers on tap, 120 different imported bottled beers and over 200 different Miro brewed bottled beers.In the last 30 years in business we have become Indy's best kept secret. Some people think we are like the tv show "Cheers". Shallos is for sure a great place to come in and get comfortable and try traditional pub food and brews.

First time there and was I disappointed. Waiter was totally inept could not get drinks right had us repeat our orders to him 3x. Appetizer came out cold then twice had to send my burger and ended up not having a meal. Manager took off my meal from the bill and gave 1 meal for 1/2 price should not have charged us anything..
Shallos has been my favorite bar for as long as I've been of drinking age. They have by far the best beer selection south of downtown Indy. They have the best wing sauce in the industry and the best burgers around. The menu may look like the usual bar food rundown, but everything is done better and with a touch of originality. Staff and patrons are friendly and natural people, which gives Shallos a homey feel. It's my personal "Cheers."
Awesome experience all around. Jared was our waiter, put on a good presentation with the German beer. Food was great. Friends from out of town loved it. Will continue to come back. Great place!!!!!
delicious fried food and the best french onion soup I've had in indy this far. they also have great customer service. fixed a mistake for me on my order that was completely my fault.
My chicken had no taste, my shrimp was cold in the middle, and the sauces sucked. Least to say the only half decent thing I had was my salad... Never be back for such a waste of 23$. My beer was also not very cold lol #FAIL

Very friendly makes you want to come back
Been here many times and never had an issue. Always great staff and great food. Currently sitting here with a friend from out of town and we both are a bit disappointed. Can't even make a salad right today. Waitress checked on us once but didn't ask us anything specific like if we needed refills until the very end once the check had been paid. She seemed too concerned with the bigger groups around us. Not your best Shallos.
