Great food , good costumer service
We went to give the Southport location another try after they closed and reopened only to find that not much had changed. It Mother's Day so you know you are likely going to be busy well they were short staffed/lack of support for those on staff. We arrived at 12:45 waited 30 minutes for a table then left at 3:15. Drinks were rarely refilled it took a solid 35-40 minutes for food to arrive once we ordered. Meals were rung up wrong, service was horrible. We love Scotty's. Our 3 year Olds will request scotty's just about anytime we eat out. The staff is pleasant and the food is awesome. My favorite Bleu cheese dressing and chicken wings in the world. There is a wait during peak times, but it's worth it.
Mediocre service; not upfront about charges. I did not appreciate being informed today that I had to download the app to continue participate in VIP rewards. My server then expected me to use mobile pay and seemed surprised/annoyed that I didn't want my payment info in the app.
We usually love Scotty's, have been to several other locations. We will continue to patron the other stores, but not Southport. We were a table of 6 and it was around 5 tonight. Our waitress was in her own world tonight. Now she was nice, but when taking drink orders my cousin asked for sprite and she goes "water" and walks off. Then she didn't put in one person's order, messed up another person order (in which she claimed she didn't hear her...
