Pay my insurance premiums on time every month, they canceled my insurance for no reason and I can't get ahold of anyone when I call! Was on hold for hour today with no response! They never sent me notice that is was canceled and still have continued cash my checks while I have no insurance! Still have no answers and no call backs!!
Was involved in a motorcycle accident on OCTOBER 20, 2014 and this place saved my life. I never went back to thank everyone but THANK YOU ALL.
The entire staff from hospitality to nurses to Doctors were so kind and helpful in every way !
My daughter had lupus she went the first day the doctor said she was going to die that they were going to give her blood and then dialysis and if that didn't work she would die so she end up going to icu on life support now they say they messed up both her kidneys to save her life. Now she in a lot of pain from 11 am until and it's 3 am and she still in pain now they were giving her a high dose of Med but they stop them cause they say they didn't want to mess up her kidneys so they gave her low doses of meds the doctors mess... read more
Overall it is great but as in any teaching facility it has it's issues.
The absolute worst care. I advise you to drive on to Austin even in an emergency! The level of incompetence on both cardiac and neurology floors are a life threatening situation. I have had too many horrific stories to even tell, as my parents have to go to Scott and White due to their retirement insurance. I will pay out of pocket for real healthcare vs. returning here again. Do not trust or go to this facility they give large doses of apathy and incompetence!!!!!

With one exception I have always been treated with respect.
When we arrived in the ER there was about 30 people in the waiting room. I was in lots of pain and nauseated but found the majority of people laughing and talking loudly. After waiting about 45 minutes I was admitted to a fast track room where I received an IV and pain medication. From this point on I was very satisfied with my care.
