I think it's absolutely wonderful that this hospital allows the parents to be so close and involved with the preemies.
This is the worse care you can get - always an intern -not a doctor always sit and wait - and they don't care or respect they're employees - told my husband if something happens and I wake up in Scott and white I'm divorcing him - SERIOUSLY!!
We've had 5 Emergencies in the last two years and all of the doctors and staff have been great to us.
My mom and dad sees doctors there and I feel confident in taking them there . they have treated them and the family with respect. ....
The worst place to call and make an appointment. I've called 3 times already, waited for over 20 minutes each time and then the calls get disconnected. I have full network signal therefore it is not my wireless service. What happened to the old quality patient-centered engagement? CSRs are rude, Doctors are nice though, but the public image and interaction of the organization has deteriorated drastically in recent years. The billing is so terrible. I received care at this hospital during which I was even told how much the procedure would be up front. Subsequently, I attempted to pay and was told there was no need. Then I received a phone call while at work telling my I didn't have insurance, when I previously gave them my insurance information. Later I received a bill for 10x the amount quoted. This hospital system should have figured out how to bill people appropriately by now.
This healthcare system is so poor I can't believe it is accepted on plans. Went to ER (out of necessity, because Urgent Care ONLY deals with " minor cuts and bruises" quote) To have my knee drained. I was shuffled off to the freezing cold trauma room no blanket, one pillow. Had to put the pillow under my knee for support. Nurse asked me what my pain level was, grimaced at how swollen my knee was and how painful it must be and promptly left the room.
