I would 100% recommend Dr. Appell! After 3.5 months of pain I finally feel hope. Dr. Appell took the time to listen and showed great empathy.

Just because a patient comes to Dr. Appell for help with an injury, doesn't mean that is all that is discussed. With each visit, Dr. Appell has been genuinely concerned about my whole well-being, and how I am adjusting mentally. Friendly, affable, and sincere, I love to share with others about my positive experiences under his care, as I have only positive things to say about him. I would definitely recommend Dr. Appell to my family and friends as an excellent orthopedic surgeon.

Absolutely fabulous. This is a very busy practice with a very diverse patient population, but the staff is very organized and quick to ensure that there is no waiting time. Dr. Appell himself was so personable and took the time to discuss issues and concerns and act on the very quickly.
Dr. Appell and his staff provide excellent service. My last visit was for a required x-ray of my left hip replacement by Dr. Appell that was done just over one year ago. I have been extremely pleased with my result and the follow up by his office. When my right hip requires surgery, I’ll be back. (In previous years, Dr. Appell also operated on each of my shoulders - both still doing quite well.)
This is my second hip replacement but the first time I have used Dr Appell. Recovery time was much faster. Office staff is very friendly and efficient I never have had to wait over 15 minutes. Your not left sitting in the room for long at all. I would rate him as a very skilled and talented surgeon. He is very carrying and optimistic and if I ever need a orthopedic surgeon again I will use Dr Appell, he even said I could go horseback riding again! I am a happy patient with a new hip!
January 6, 2020 had a consult with Dr. Appell. Based solely on how well he did total knee replacement on my Grandmother (Late 70’s at time). She loved him!!! Dr. Appell REALLY LISTENED to me and understood what would be best for me as a patient. I have a rotator cuff tear. He’s directing me to the best pain management/ physical therapy.
