I could not ask for a better caring doctor. I would recommend him to anyone.
He is kind-spoken, thorough with explanations, answers questions readily.
After waiting two hours after my scheduled appointment time, he would spend 5 minutes with me and gave me no answers to my problem. I had limited mobility of my shoulder and he just ran in and out and didn't give me the time of day. Don't waste your time with this office. The nurses up front were rude and inconsiderate as well.

Fine what little I have seen him. Haven't seen him a lot. I do like the email every day where u can send a comment and they check on certain things. If u have a problem u can email question to them and they answer the same day
Dr.Appell and his office staff are wonderful. The only complaint I have is with Shirley in scheduling. She is very short and quit rude when trying to make appointments.
At age 47, I required a left total reverse shoulder replacement. The surgery was short and I was out of the hospital by the next day with very little pain during recovery. After 3-days, I was able to drive myself and began to exercise. Therapy began on the following Tuesday with very little pain or motion loss. Dr. Appell and his staff were very informative, helpful, easily accessible, and they made my procedure issue free. I would highly recommend Dr. Appell and Lemak Sports Medicine.
