This is not my insurance company I was hit by someone who has them and they were incredibly rude and not easy to deal with. It took nine days for me to get a rental car approved, despite many phone calls and I did everything I needed to do on my part. They told me to upload pictures of the car and then sent me a check for not even close to the price it was to fix my car. I've had my motorcycle insurance the last 3 years at foremost, and today I had a popped tire so I called to have a tow Which tow has always been a coverage on my policy that I've paid for the last 3 years.. foremost said the truck was dispatched at 6:30 and now it's almost 9:50pm and have yet to have the truck show up. Pro tip- Triple A has MUCH better rates and service! Farmers has the WORST service! We cancelled our policies in July of 2019. Farmers sent a refund check for overages paid. However, they continued to charge our debit card for the policies for the following three months. I had to report it as fraud to block future charges. Then in January of 2020 we received a bill for coverage in August 2019. We spent probably 4-5 hours trying to cancel the original policies, and an additional 2 hours fighting over this new bill. Horrible ******** service. I canceled my policy and they continued charging me for months after submitting documents to cancel.

They need to be investigated, keep getting calls at all times of the day including at 6am. Already insured, have requested to take me off the list and they keep calling.

Person insured by this agency reared ended me at a stop light. File claim, presented statement, police report, and photos to prove claim. Agency is utilizing deny/delay tactics. No follow-up on evidence provided, left voicemail claiming I left out information, fails to say what that information is, when I call back, no answer straight to voicemail. Very unethical business regardless of what side of the table the consumer is on. Too bad you can't rate 0 or - stars. Will be filing a dispute seeking a resolution.

I have been in a car accident mid November 2019 and claim rep was not responsive at all. We had initial talk for them to take my statement but after than I left voicemails daily and talked to someone maybe every 2 weeks from then on. It took them 10 business days to get someone out to the bodyshop to determine will they fix it or total it. They decided to total my car, it was just cosmetic damage. After that they offered very low amount to settle this so I needed to spend money on independent appraiser to get bigger amount. ... read more

This experience has been the worst, most frustrating I have ever had with an insurance company. I have notified my local broker that they should NOT refer any client to this company. It took 4 days to be able to get a rental car due to the fact that they don't return calls or texts, despite saying you can send them. They don't even send an adjuster to look at the car, they ask for pictures!. Since pictures don't show anything mechanical, they sent a check for less than 1/3 of the cost of repairs. This company is full of incompetent crooks and scam artists who have been trained to basically say NO. My family has a total of 9 cars insured with Farmers and have been with them for more than 12 years now. My car vandalized and the Catalytic Converter stolen. Contacted Farmers and they were of little or no help. Was told that I'd have to pay the deductible and also I wouldn't be given a rental car.
