Horrible insurance company! It's impossible to get anyone on the phone after filing a claim. I have to leave 4-5 voicemails before anyone would call back. First the appraiser was on vacation so I had to send photos through an app. It took a few days to get a response. My wife was rear ended and our vehicle was totaled and she was injured. Bristol offered her 5,000 to settle claim what a joke. Agent never returns calls to settle claim.Your client was at full fault and have Witness of his actions. Seeking an attorney due to lack of Bristols response.

I believe I have found the worst auto insurance on this planet and it's called Bristol West Insurance. My elderly mother in Florida originally purchased Farmers Insurance and her policy was transferred to Bristol West Insurance. She recently had an accident and her vehicle was totaled by Bristol West Insurance. Her vehicle only sustained cosmetic damage... everything from the drive train and up was in great shape! I have complained about an item listed on my declaration page and it turns out that item was "optional". As a senior, if I did not question it how would I have known? I have yet to be shown in writing or told of a recording in which I authorize this item now known to me as "optional". I hold the opinion that this company is unfair in how it labels such items, especially for seniors.

This is about Bristol West, wish I could give zero stars. Dealing with them has been the biggest headache of my life for the past 4 months. They are constantly not processing my auto payments resulting in my policy to go into pre-cancel status EVERY SINGLE MONTH. This insurance company **** find ways to take your money... I canceled my policies with them in February and 3 months later they say I owe them because my policies did not get closed properly by one of there agents who is no longer with them. After contacting them they told me there's nothing that they **** do, an I must pay them or it **** go to collections. That is not a company you should do business with. They are out to find loopholes to take advantage of there customers.
