Don't Be Fooled By Empty Boasts and "Company Pledge" My grandfather passed **** 5 years ago, and left the house to me. I've been paying Foremost since then, on time, and in the full amount. They just notified me we need to redo the policy in my name, and they would refund the annual payment "to the appropriate party". They wrote the check out to my deceased grandfather, who did not create an estate, and we have no way to cash the check. Foremost certainly has the ability to rewrite the check to my name (the person who owns... read more

I never used my insurance and my account had no issues. Still my auto insurance increased exponentially ever 6 months. I did what I could to try to lower the price but it still just went up! I'm a safe driver but was demanded to pay over $900 for 6 months! I finally switched companies and am now paying half of what I paid in the last 4 years. The agent didn't even reimburse me the full remaining amount on my account from the date I switched, only from the date I emailed him. Disgusting!

Bristol West preys upon families of decedents, particularly those who are poor or who die young. My brother dies unexpectedly at the age of 68. He had a policy with Bristol West for an ancient Toyota Camry. Upon his death, they paid out the $100 due in the form of a check to "the Estate of **** David L", and admittedly Bristol West sent it quickly. The problem is that someone has to have power of attorney or the equivalent to set up an estate account. In his case, no one was bestowed such status. I called to see if they woul... read more

How is Farmer's still in business? Currently going through my second claim with them. First claim took 3 months to resolve. Yes, that's right 3 months. I was without a car for 3 whole months. How long is this claim going to take? Half a year? A full year? I'm for sure going to shop around for different insurances after this claim is taken care of.

Horrible Auto Insurance Company. My daughter who is a college student was ripped off by Bristol West. They showed in her payments that she had paid on her due date in November but then turned around and charged her again 2 weeks before her due date. When she called them about it, they claimed that they had implemented a new billing system and were not taking payment at the time of her November payment, so instead took it out of her bank account on Dec 5th. She never received any notification or call stating that they would b... read more

Business response:
We are regretful that the ******** is displeased, but without additional detail or information we are unable to provide much assistance. We would encourage him to reach out to his local agent or our ******** service number at X-XXX-XXX-XXXX for additional assistance.
This is just a unscrupulous group as a client or as person making claims. Please read all articles regarding their ******** service, along with their computer that basically spits out what should be paid out. No humanity, this company only cares about the bottom line. Do not sign up with them. Many other insurance companies that are better out there.
