Overrated, over priced, and disgusting! It was $56 for a sampler plate, pork and greens, and two kids pork sandwiches. Hole in the wall and disgusting are two different things. I'm ok with hole in the wall when it's good and clean. This place is a disgusting hole in the wall. It's filthy. Everywhere you look there is dirt, grease, and grime. My leg was sticking to my chair. Awesome food love those smoked wings, and tried the fried corn 🌽 for the first time freakin awesome!
The best barbecue in Birmingham. And you have to try the fried okra... it's almost better than my grandmothers!

Found this place and loved it. We ordered the smoked chicken. This was dry and didn't taste smoked so I wouldn't recommend that but we ordered sweet tea chicken pulled pork banana pudding fried pickles fried okra and fries. AMAZING is the best word I can come up with. The tea is the perfect sweet. The ice they have is our favorite ice as well. If ur traveling it's worth the detour. If u come you wont be sorry!

Always make it a point to visit Saw's when I'm in Birmingham. Everything on the menu is excellent, but you most definitely have to try the Pork & Greens.
