The man at the register whom is the assistant manager (so he said) had THE WORST ATTITUDE. Very rude and disrespectful. Not a word was said. Wouldn't say the total. VERY VERY RUDE. Will never go back.
I ordered the "Pork & Greens" and it was delicious. My husband enjoyed the "Shrimp & Grits". We shared an 8 oz. order of banana pudding which was tasty. We will definitely be back.
Incredible food! Service was great. The guys behind the counter were incredibly friendly and helpful when ordering! The wings are a must, unlike any I've ever had!

We were in town for the Steel City Jazz Festival. My honey wanted BBQ, so I set out on a mission to find the best. We chose here based on Internet/social media reviews. I had the Sweet Tea Chicken Sandwich w/fried corn & loved it!!! My boyfriend had the Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich w/pot salad...he said the meat wasn't consistently tender (some was dry) and neither of us cared for the vinegary potato salad. However, we both agreed we'd return and try something else. Also, we enjoyed the casual atmosphere & outside dining.
Strangely enough, one of the best burgers I've ever had. Didn't expect that from a BBQ place.
We love both locations in Birmingham. Great food! Highly recommend it!

Saws soul kitchen has the best barbeque in town.. The staff is very professional and will have your order out quick..The resteraunt itself could offer more room inside both locations are small buildings..but I believe this is part of their "rustic shack" type appearance and charm.. There's plenty of room at the outdoor pic nic tables at the Avondale location.. Table turn time in this resteraunt is pretty quick.
