Extremely disappointed in the Savannah Riverfront Marriott. After a whole day of traveling, I entered my room to unmade beds, and not a thorough cleaning. My mother entered her room to find someone already residing in it. They put her in a less than room, one not as nice as what she originally booked. The evening staff was less than complimentary, and only offered 1 round of drinks at the lobby bar. I certainly do NOT recommend this establishment.
I wouldn’t stay at the Savannah Marriott Riverfront again. Checked in today and someone was in my room, paid for a balcony room and didn’t get moved to the same type room. Moved to new room and couldn’t get door open. Hotel staff sent someone to fix door and still can’t get it to work. Then my daughters entered their room to find their beds not made with dirty sheets. Just a warning for anyone that might want to ever stay here 😡
Great service and friendly staff
Checked in and checked out within 30 minutes. Got placed in a room and it was nasty. Hair all over the bathroom counter, sink and shower. Also there was food still on the floor. It was evident the room wasn’t cleaned well. We were placed in a second room, and it too was dirty. The end table had a large, sticky coffee mark and there were long strands of hair in the bed. We ended up checking out and going to another hotel.
