My family and I came down for Labor Day. We thought that choosing to stay in this Marriott we would feel safe and secure, but we were mistaken. My husband watched 3 juveniles in the Marriott’s pool area terrorize guest all afternoon. He took pictures of them on top of the pool areas building and reported it to management. For the 1st time ever, I was charged for my room before I even arrived at the hotel. I was charged twice for my rooms on my credit card, which thankfully Mastercard reversed because the hotel had NO explanation at all... SMH!
What started out as a $159 room turned into $250. Paying $25 to park in a parking lot that I already paid for a room was a new one on me. Of course then there was the $49.95 taxes and the $12.99 fee. Nice place but I truly was afraid to turn on the shower as I might have been charged for the water . Oh excuse me the parking was $25 per night not just a one time charge as well as the possibility of parking outside of the parking garage in the rain. The lovely Savanna Ga has a gold mine in parking fees.
