It's very nice but for the prices you should at least get free Wi-Fi...kids were disappointed because I'm not paying extra.
When I checked in, I was told the only room left was one without a bed, but they had placed a cot in the room for me to sleep on! They offered to discount the price to $99- but I would have happily paid $250 for a room with a real bed. When I told them my reservation was made a week in advance, I was told "the reservation doesn't specify a bed" REALLY???? This review is going to be a mixed review. First, the staff (especially Tony Smith the Bellman Supervisor) were very friendly and pleasant and were very welcoming. They even gave me a free upgraded room with a view and brought a gift to our room because my wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary. Great location - Friendly staff - Comfortable room. I booked the room at the Savannah Marriott before reading the reviews here. After reading so many negative reviews I wanted to cancel the reservation but was within the 24 hour cancellation period. So I came with low expectations of the hotel. This is a very dated property with a GREAT view of the river! Parking garage is scary, lines needed repainting and parking spots are very tight. No valet and$21 a day to self park! There was a truck with a boat on a trailer parked directly in front of the small/tight exit to the property the three days i was there making it impossible to exit without hitting the curb. My husband bought our family here for a family vacation. When we arrived, the valet was rude. The bell hop was even ruder. The parking deck has so much mold and mildew until it triggered my daughters asthma. It was actually so big and so thick and so much until u couldn't miss it. Then, the hallways smelled horrible. We checked in around 5:00 and I was ready to leave this Marriott at 5:30. Got to our room and it wasn't clean up to part. Dirt was on the covers. Floors had the same smell as the hallways.
