I am a Elite Member with the Marriott. And the only hotels I stay in are Marriott brand hotels. I am very disappointed. The only thing good about this hotel is the location. I used 35,000 of my points for an outdated hotel which suppose to be a category 7 hotel. No refrigerator, microwave and outdated sockets. Had to plug my phone in the bathroom to charge because the only plug that worked in the room was the lamp and I let my guest use it. And it smells very old. Came here to celebrate my birthday. The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back again! Thank you for such a great stay! I would give this 10 stars hands down!
Overall pleasant but have to say that for the nightly charge I expected better than a 5 year old mattress with a cheap topper on it. Worst nights sleep I've had in years. Other than that the staff were great. We had our parking fee waived due to the spider that dropped on my head when the bellhop was helping me unload the luggage in the room... Valet parking would be a huge upgrade. I'm surprised that it hasn't existed before.
The hotel had an awesome balcony view of the river. We were there for the July 4th holidays and the river view was awesome for the fireworks. The hotel is right on the riverwalk and close to everything.
Great stay!! We arrived on July 4th and we're able to enjoy all the festivities. It was super busy and our room wasn't ready, but we were quickly upgraded to another room and had the same room reserved for our return trip the following weekend. Will be back!
