Can’t wait for the lease to be up! DO NOT MOVE INTO Avana Matthews! I have lived here since September of 2021 and never had an issue until the property was purchased by Greystar and became Avana. A pest control contractor came into my apartment and damaged my personal property. Nothing from Avana. If you have a pet that visits you are required to pay for that pet even if they do not live there on a permanent basis. I was charged 362.10 for the pet even with an approved ESA letter. Verified Renter This community has huge potential. I have been here for over 4 years and have been disappointed always. My first morning in my apartment I got locked out on my second story porch for over an hour. I’ve been locked out twice to a faulty lock system. That was never fixed. I’ve had visitors get locked out on days I’ve luckily been there. My tub was disgusting on move in, they claimed they’d renovate it and then never did and denied they ever said so. Maintenance and management don't care Maintenance issues take a really long time to get fixed. I've been waiting for a functional dishwasher since I moved in September 2024, the mailboxes don't lock, there are holes in the wood walkway outside my front door.

Verified Renter The apartments themselves are nice. You are not going to find as much space as these for this price but the management has gone down since switching. It's like they want is to act like we are in a 5 start apartment complex and thts just not the case

Verified Renter Horrible experience with Avana since new rental company took over. Lack of communication with management, forget getting anything fixed, and there’s a ton of roaches.

Verified Renter I am comfortable in my apartments, I like them, really like the localization and the area itself, beautiful and clean enough! But what bothers me is that I can't ask for repairs or insect repellent.
