Lakeside bistro featuring local and sustainable ingredients. Sardine is located in the historic Machinery Row building (est. 1846) on the shores of lake Monona, in the heart of Madison, Wisconsin. Our menu features artisanal cheeses, fresh shellfish and seafood, braised and roasted meats. Bar opens at 4:00 and offers signature drinks, local and imported tap beers and a well-rounded wine list. Saturdays and Sundays brunch is served from 9-2:30.

RecommendedWhat an excellent night! We arrived early for our 5:30 PM reservation so that we could enjoy the oysters and wine from their Happy Hour menu. After Happy Hour my wife and I were able to select what part of the restaurant we wanted to be seated in and chose the nice view of Lake Monona.
