I am also going back june 6th to stay and see thunder from down under and of course to gamble! the rooms are very comfortable and clean,the buffet has quite a selection to choose from and the entire staff is so friendly! I plan on staying at the hotel once a month as I love to gamble late at night and staying at the hotel is so much better than night driving.i really enjoyed waking up and going for a swim as well. keep up the great work Saratoga,you guys are terrific!

I wasn’t impressed. We had fun ,didn’t win anything but hey that happens. My only issues were the cleanliness “well, not so cleanliness of the restrooms and the food place called Lucky or something like that. We were there 4 hours. Bathroom trashed, no toilet paper . And Lucky’s? Food was ok for the price, but the spot to sit over looking the track was disgusting! McDonald’s is kept cleaner . Didn't like the fact that the Copper Chopper Wilds' games were all removed and only a few left. They were the ones that were enjoyable to play and not so expensive. Winning is getting much harder and the favorite games are getting replaced more and more.

We have many games that offer low minimum wagers. Please ask for a Floor Attendant upon your next visit and they will gladly point you in the direction of games that suites your interest.
We didn't have much luck. Went to the buffet and it wan[t one of their best.That's twice in a row we didn't really care for it.If we go again, we will probably eat elsewhere.It's a shame because we enjoy going to the casino.

My husband and I stayed here for a night at their hotel. Their policy regarding drinks (even if it's diet soda) being brought from the "hotel" area to the casino area is very arbitrarily enforced. You may or may not be able to bring a drink from your hotel room to the casino floor, whether or not it's in a glass container. This is the first casino I have ever been to deny a drink being brought from the hotel to the casino in a plastic cup, yet I watched several (older) people be admitted into the floor with glass beer bottle... read more
Not happy at all, I had a fifty dollar voucher my sister had given me for Christmas (2016), it wouldn't work in the machines so I went to the cashier to be informed that it wasn't any good because it was over a year old. Very disappointed that Saratoga can't make enough money off the machines so they take money from vouchers that people have paid cash for. I feel Saratoga stole this money, and how many other people have they done this to. Not impressed, maybe River's is cutting in on there bottom line.

Tammy, we understand your frustration about this experience. The explanation you received at the Cashier cage is correct. Any unclaimed or unused vouchers of one year or longer are no longer valid. This is a policy set in place by the New York State Lottery and we operate under their rules and regulations. This policy would be true at any of the New York State Lottery facilities. All unclaimed funds automatically go to the New York State Education Fund and not to our property.
We came to town for the day. Enjoyed the Prime Rib buffet and Harness Racing. It was a fun day !
