His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. Dr. Barr is the most fabulous dentist. His knowledge, professionalism and kindness are unsurpassed. His front office staff, his assistant Marta are wonderful too. It’s a pleasure to go to the dentist when it’s Dr. Barr!

Laura is so flexible and focuses on the customer. She knows what my concerns are, she makes sure I am comfortable and she anticipates what will be acceptable and what my concerns might be (low threshold for any pain, can only do appointments early or late, etc). She makes me a very loyal customer!
