Dr. Barr was born in 1952 and has spent his entire life in the Chicago area. His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. Cleaning was thorough, gentle, and educational. I would not trust my teeth to any other practice than Dr. Barr’s. I used to travel in from Wyoming just to receive their excellent care!
Dr. Diachenko consistently provides an excellent level of care and expertise to her patients and to her work. Her office is clean, professional, and includes the latest in equipment and services (heated rinse water for those of us with sensitive teeth is a nice touch!). Her friendly and upbeat personality actually makes going to the dentist a fun experience. I would not go anywhere else.
Kudos to Dr, Barr and Cheryl, Hall of Fame card-carrying members in any Dental Hall of Fame!

I have been going to Dr. Barr for many years. His entire team consistently provides outstanding care. Susan always does a terrific job on my cleanings and I was very happy with the service/results provided by Dr. Diachenko and Claudia on my invisalign work. How many people can say going to their dentist is a pleasure!? Thank you to Dr. Barr and his entire team!
