His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. I have been consistently gratified and impressed with the thoughtful and personally relevant discussions about dental health care with the hygenist Laura. She shares current research findings on dental health and generously provides new tools to support that purpose. I also have always found the front desk team to be friendly, helpful and cooperative and informative about billing and insurance. I'm fortunate to not have any significant issues with my teeth since I started seeing Dr Barr over a decade ago. But I've always had great service from him and the entire office staff. Recently I've developed some sensitivity in my teeth. My hygienist, Susan, has been extremely helpful to work with me to improve this situation. I feel I'm in good hands!
How can a seven am appointment leave me feeling upbeat? When the hygienist, Laura, is so enthusiastic and thorough. And when Dr. Barr gives such positive feedback. And when the front desk staff offer to help with an insurance denial. Couldn’t be happier.
Dr. Marianne always does a wonderful job and always makes me feel comfortable. I cannot see myself ever going elsewhere for a cleaning! Thanks!
I've been seeing Dr. Barr since he opened the practice. Susan has been my dental tech for a number of years. These are talented and great professionals who take good care of me and make going to the dentist a pleasant experience. I tell everyone about this excellence practice. Simply the best.
