His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. Very positive experience. Main desk offered to retrieve my X-rays from Florida...and only took X-rays that were needed. Xray tech was terrific....and the hygienist was a total pleasure to be with...

I have been seeing Dr. Barr for a few years. Now, I have really good teeth, I been treated better than family. I went in for a crown repair and 20 years of neglect. They were gentle and thorough making sure to answer all my question providing all info up front and given the option of what to proceed with. Yes it cost and yes they deserve it. I would tell the world about this wonderful location.
