His undergraduate studies were at the University of Illinois and he graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1976. After graduating from Dental School he completed a general practice residency at Northwestern's V.A. Lakeside hospital with emphasis on restorative dentistry and medicine. The most pleasurable experience I have ever had having Dentistry performed. The staff and expertise of Dr. Barr was truly at the highest level attainable.
I believe my hygienist was named Ericka. We talked about her family in Texas. She knocked herself out to get all my plaque off and then showed me how to properly brush with the little extra crevice brushes and which electric toothbrush she recommended.
This is the finest dental practice in Chicago-from the front desk all the way to Dr Barr. Everyone is professional, highly qualified and exceptionally courteous.
As always, very, very good.
Susan takes great care of me when I am in for a cleaning. Maureen does a great job of following up with insurance. Very pleased with the service and treatment here.

I would give a 10 star rating if I could!! Dr. Barr and his whole staff are phenomenal. He is the most compassionate, caring, painless dentist I have ever met. He is an angel. Laura my hygienist you are a rockstar!!!
Limiting her to only 5 stars means she is under-rated by a mile. She is easily a 10 star. No secret why an appointment with Cheryl is about the tought tucket on the planet.
