This hotel is awesome if you are traveling with one other person. Friendly staff, convenient to location and they have all the amenities of a big chain hotel. Only downfall is we didn't have a tv (which wasn't a big deal to me but it helps my husband sleep) in the room and it got hot at night (even with two fans).
My husband and I stayed here just for the night when we first arrived it was very cute inside it had a lot of character, how ever the fan in the room barely even made a breeze so it really didn't cool down the room we asked for another fan and it helped a little, also the bed we had was very hard and noisy so every time my husband would move I would wake up to the noise other than that it was nice the room and bathrooms were very clean and staff was on top of refilling toiletries.

RecommendedMy first time here and I absolutely loved it! I would feel comfortable in any of these charming rooms. Clean, well maintained, walking distance to so many restaurants and sights. In the Italian restaurant downstairs was fabulous. I love the free coffee, tea and snacks, washer and dryer on the first level, soda machine and all the reading material I wanted. I highly recommend this hotel.
Our second stay in this lovely hotel...it's very well situated and if you get chance to book the Penthouse suite I definitely recommend it....such stunning views. The rooms are very clean and the staff are very freindly �
Si vous aimez ce p'tit coté relax et pas compliqué on a adoré se retrouver dans cette auberge .....très bien située.... tout pour passer un agréable séjour...... le personnel est accessible et courtois..... et que dire des fauteuils de massage....pour bien terminer une journée quoi demander de mieux... on y retournerais sans hésitation.....
My stay at the San Remo was absolutely perfect! The staff is so pleasant and very knowledgeable. The location, just a short walk from Fisherman's Wharf, is outstanding! You can get the excitement of Fisherman's Wharf and come back to the relaxing hotel! I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to San Francisco!
