Very historical antique heaven! Staying here was a pleasure and delightful experience. Also, while my husband was doing laundry on the first floor he witnessed a spirit walking the hall wearing what he described as a white robe. It was so cool. We looked up the history on the San Remo and it confirmed what he saw was also seen by many. Enjoyed the double windows that open up from the shower.

Beautiful. So wise and lite in design. Natural light and airflow in all rooms. I wish I lived at the SanRemo. I tell everyone to visit even if they aren't staying there.

Great place to stay if you don't mind sharing a bathroom. Very clean and central to everything. We have stayed there twice and would definitely stay again next time in San Fran. Highly recommend.
Otroligt charmigt litet hotell nära Fisherman's wharf med en historia från jordbävningen i San Francisco 1906.
Stumbled upon the gem last July. Stayed 2 days. Just a few blocks from fisherman's Wharf. Authentic decor from a time gone by. Great Italian restaurant downstairs. Can't wait to go back.

Unfriendly, unpersonal, unfamiliar. I cannot recommend staying at this place. I booked because of the good reviews, but it was totally wrong. The first hotel in my life (I have got about 2.000 nights in hotels already), which I left before checking in. Even if I payed already, better worth to spend the money and go somewhere else... Very poor experience with San Remo
