Full of character, cosy and superbly located for Fisherman’s Wharf.
Such a cute quaint and unique hotel. Reminded me of a lil hotel I stayed at in Nerja, Spain on the Mediterranean. I wish the rooms were at least a tad bit bigger but I have no complaints about San Remo hotel. I always had shampoo, conditioner, soap, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, etc... I only gave it 4 stars Bc of the size of rooms.
Just stayed at the San Remo for 4 days and loved it. As an ex-San Franciscan it was great to stay in my favorite neighborhood (yet not right in the middle of the loudness). I had a nice little room with the Herb Caen theme, lots of little extras (earplugs, hooks to hang things, dresser, sink), the hallbaths were not a problem at all, always available, private and clean, lots of little sitting corners with an amazing massage chair (used it every day after a lot of walking), just charming and with so much character!
