Quaint with great staff services, fantastic location. I have stayed here 5 times in the last 5 years.
I am impressed with all the decor and ambiance, specially it is a historic hotel, but you can hear the loud noises of plates, pans, bang of pots and restaurant worker talking inside our hotel room. We have tried to complained and the management did not even helped us instead they want to charge us more if we want to move to a quieter room. We got to our hotel room at 9:30 pm from touring around San Francisco and we are tired and want to rest. We are here to celebrate our anniversary and unwind. Great location and historic site.
This wonderful place is not just an hotel but a real attraction in SF. Everything, from rooms to corridors to toilets is very stylish and naive with an unreal attention to details. It seems to be in some kind of movie! The whole structure is clean and you don't even notice the shared toilets and showers since they are structured to safeguard your privacy. Staff is friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the position is perfect to reach the best attractions on foot.
It’s a quaint hotel formerly a boarding house back in the days....I truly recommend it!
