I have been a resident of NKY and utilized St. Elizabeth for almost 40 years. I have never been more disappointed or disgusted with patient care as much as I was this past Friday at the Emergency Room at St. E Edgewood. My 79 year old father was brought in by squad after a head on collision motor vehicle accident. He was treated as if they didn't take his injuries seriously and released without any concern for his health. I have always had very good service here. I have found the doctors, nurses, and staff to be caring and professional
Wonderful place with a kind and considerate staff. Just got home 17 hours ago from spending 5 days there. My son, an over the road truck driver, got ill and was admitted here on the 18th. He had left all his personal stuff in his truck, not even his phone charger. One of the nurses got him a phone charger so he could call home (600 miles away). I would not trust them to take care of my dog. They are neglectful which is in my mind abuse. Refused to bathe my family member and tried to get my relative who was visiting and in her 70s do it for them. No one wants to do their jobs or actually care for people. If you want a hospital you can trust who will take care of you or your family member go to Christ hospital. They hold their staff accountable
I just heard my Cardiologist Dr Boyer passed away. This is a great loss to the health professional. St Elizabeth is a wonderful system doctors, nurses and all the rest of the staff are very professional caring and want to do the best for the patients. I would not be alive if the system had ever failed me. Thank you all and my prayers to all for their loss of Dr. Boyer.
The Florence hospital is the worst place you can go for help. This is why they call this Hospital the place to Die. This location has no sense of urgency the nurses seem to have no clue what they are doing or how to read a patients records or how to even care for a patient. The fact that the hospital is locked down like Ft. Knox at night is insane. The whole experience my Family and I have seen is not professional in anyway.
