Over the years we've had issues with St E Florence and occasionally Edgewood. Once a couple years ago we went to Florence based on the recommendation of the little clinic that my wife needed to go to the ER. Her feet were swelling, head was swimming and could barely walk or talk. We went and you'd never guess the doctor diagnosis: sunburn, because her chest was red from anxiety (which she's diagnosed with already) and prescribed her something for itching. Who does that?! The employees in the radiology department are awesome. I had a 2 hour test done and they made sure that i was OK every step of the way.
Women's Health is a little rude and the scheduling system for doctors is messed up. Why am I paying 40 dollars to get told to go do something that could have just been said over the phone? I feel a bit ripped off guys...

I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Nov. 9th. I have had the best care anyone could ask for. Now cancer free. After that it was determined I needed a complete hysterectomy. I have the best doctors and I'm grateful to them for taking such great care of me. I had my breast cancer surgery at St. E Edgewood on Dec. 2nd and my hysterectomy at St. E Florence on Dec. 29th. Great service excellence people very friendly hospital
St. Elizabeth hospital is a great place to get back to be healthy. Pros: The staff is awesome! Nurses and aides, Respiratory therapy, has done an excellent job. The Drs. are very good. Some need bedside training but most are really nice and treat you with respect. The Cons: the food has been cold most of the time. They need a better food delivery system. I'm sure like most places the staff are doing the best they can but are overwhelmed by the number of requests. Another situation that needs attention is the pharmacy. They c... read more
