My fiancé has kidney failure, he's been in the hospital for a week so far and they are looking at another week or two. I don't get off of work until 9 so by time I'm able to make it to see him after getting off of work, picking our two children up and going to see him, it's roughly 9:30 at night. Me and my children walked through security, I got my visitor badge, and we went straight to his room. The nurse he had tonight was extremely rude and was totally disrespectful. We went in for my dad who had a heart attack. One of the nurses was rude all around. He asked if he was able to get up and move walk around she told him yes. He asked about going down to see his niece in l&d the nurse told him she wasn't paid enough to keep him in the unit, he could do as he pleased. Needless to say, he did NOT get that nurse again in the 5 days he was there. Other than that the staff was excellent! They all got along great, and made sure all needs were met.

I was treated with respect from the Receptionist to the Doctor. I was there for an ultrasound and was pleased with the professionalism.

I recently delivered our son and had a great experience with L&D and Postpartum Care. The nurses were friendly and responsive (with the exception of one nurse in pp). I am now back in PP with a complication from delivery. The nurses are great this time around as well. The only problem I've ever had is with the emergency departments. The wait is usually long but that can be u... read more

Although I admittedly work for St Elizabeth, I have always had great experiences. No one enjoys going to the hospital whether you are a patient or visiting. I have had numerous ER trips whether related to kids injuries or my own (DIY related) :). I have had several unrelated surgeries and other services. Every time I have had great experiences. Perhaps my tolerance is higher than most, but also perhaps seeing healthcare workers give their all to make sure patients are cared for gives me a different perspective. When I am sic... read more
