When most guys retire, they decide to take it easy, maybe play a little golf or something. Not Russ Salvatore—he built a contemporary restaurant and luxury hotel to run in his retirement. Salvatore, who has been in the restaurant business over 40 years, founded Salvatore's Italian Gardens and Salvatore's Grand Hotel, which he operated until his retirement. My boyfriend and I came for the first time this evening and had the Dinner for Two option tonight with strip steak, and dessert to follow. Our server Ryan was attentive, and great! He was very knowledgeable and helpful! The busboys were laser focused and always made sure we were taken care of! Russell Salvatore himself greeted us present at the hostess stand! The food was phenomenal! The atmosphere was cozy, romantic and calming! Definetely a great fine dining place. Will come back here for sure :)
