Had a sewer blockage which was cleared but costly. The following day a Roto-Rooter, field supervisor came out with a camera and told me my sewer line required repair. I did not see him run the camera down the line as I was on a call as my appointment time was changed by Roto- Rooter. After he ran the camera down the line, he came up with two repair options. We had a sewage leak in our home around October 23, 2021. We contacted Roto-Rooter to come service our home. They seemed very promising, initially, over the phone by stating they would send someone out immediately to provide plumbing and sewage clean up. The plumbing job was taken care of, over a 2-3 day period. However, we have had numerous issues with the sewage clean up. Company is a total rip off charged me way over 5k. To fix a drain line there employee even said that this will fix the problem then two weeks later same issue so I told them I wanted it fixed and they told me it would be another 4700.00 to do it and there employee also told me to sell the house which no one should be telling you to sell your house.my point is if he didn't know what he was doing he should have never done it to begin with they took a guess at a problem that I'm still left with and a bill something needs to be ... read more

Charged $500 for less than an hour and did not fix the problem. November 6th, 2021 I had the sewage backing up in my house water damage to hall and living room. I called Roto Rooter, and dug out and opened the inspection plate outside and that stopped the flooding and gave Roto Rooter access to run there rooter down the sewage line. That DID NOT UN-BLOCK the pipe, they then ran a camera down the pipe and said the blockage was at the city's main line, and was city's responsibility. I honestly don't know how this company has remained in business. They charged me $625 per faucet to replace. Three faucets took less than three hours to replace - that's over $600/hour! The plumber also left a mess in my bathroom. The old faucets I had were leaky but they were less than three years old, so this was not a complicated or messy job. <p>MISLEADING INFORMATION BY A RR VIDEO TECHNICIAN ON SEWERLINE REPAIR We were told by a Roto Rooter video inspection technician, that the PVC, connected to the terracotta pipe was misaligned, the terracotta line would have to be trenched for 15 feet to level the pipe. Also we were told that the terracotta pipe was old and the joints were probably coming apart. He additionally advised that we should trench all the way to the sewer connection. Still have a basement floor drain backing up. First visit had a technician "clear out the main line". Had a "supervisor" come out and video scope and said the warranty on the drain back up was voided. Total Bait and Switch. Still had the floor drain back up later that day. Had a technician out today and said the backup wasn't in the main line so it wasn't covered by the warranty.

Dishonest! Charged me $4000 for water clean up. My insurance company paid them directly and Roto Rooter refused to issue me a refund.
