I was so thrilled with the work with the guys at Roto-Rooter. Having a plumbing problem that flooded my house was a disaster, but everyone at Roto-Rooter worked to help get me back to better than new condition. They were so nice and patient in explaining everything to me. I highly, highly recommend them!!!
We called Roto-Rooter and a man came to diagnose the problem. He said he could replace our water heater for $2400. When my husband said that it seemed like an outrageous price, the diagnosis changed multiple times. Lots of red flags. Finally he said he could replace a part for $1200. He pushed my husband to sign a contract and told him he must sign. He did not explain what my husband was signing and was extremely adamant that he needed to sign immediately. Austin, TX: I had Roto-Rooter come out to quote me on a simple diagnostic to determine why one of my properties' tank wasn't igniting and to fit a collar on the pipe. Before even looking at the details of the unit, they quoted me $700. The quote wasn't itemized at all and when I asked them what it's for, they verbally said getting and fitting the collar on the pipe, cleaning the basin of the tank, and servicing the burner. On 18 May I phoned Roto-Rooter and explained that my ******Tankless Water Heater stopped working due to an error code 14 (thermal fuse defective). A Roto-Rooter technician arrived a couple hours later and told me that I would need a new Heat Exchanger. He also said, he contacted the manufacturer (******) and a ****** representative said, "the Heat Exchanger is under warranty, but they would not cover it because failure of the Heat Exchanger is due to lack of maintenance." Great company, I had an issue with my toilet being backed up and the technician came in within 2 hours, assessed the problem and provided me with a quote to fix the issue. 3 hours later we had no more toilet problems. His character was friendly and professional, really recommend this company.
