Do not use this company! They are shady and dishonest and performing work that does not need to be done in order to charge more. We had a sewage back-up in our home, due to roots growing through the sewage pipes in the front yard, at the end of February. Our insurance company was unable to immediately send someone out, as it was a Sunday morning, so we found Roto-Rooter online and they were able to come address our problem immediately. Ive called this company to do a re-pipe for a home I just recently purchased. Just to get on the schedule was an adventure a lot of miscommunication between the dispatchers and the plumbers. I was within 5 days of closing on the sale of my house when a steel drain pipe began to leak. I called Roto Rooter because I thought it would be more likely that I would receive same day service. I did receive same day service, but that was the only positive aspect of this interaction. The plumber was not prepared for the job. He had to leave my house twice to purchase supplies. Water was leaking under my kitchen sink. Made an appointment to check it leak. On 5/20/22 RoTo Rooter plumber came out to fix the valve, installed a basket strainer, replaced trap from basket strainer. Afterwards he turned the water back on then noticed there was still a water ******* noise. It was coming from under the base board in which he cut open to determine it was a bust pipe in the concrete slab. Paid him $1,496. These guys are fraudulent. I have half a mind to turn them over to the media. Came out to my house gave me an estimate of 1,000 dollars, and they couldn’t get the second guy to show up. He saw that I was a veteran and gave me 150 off? Didn’t know the plumber could do that without calling a boss or something. It was a simple drain fix on my bath tub. AND I HELPED HIM DO IT. I saw a water leak in my main sewer line and called roto rooter to have a tech take a look and tell me if there is a clog. Soon thereafter I have 3 very professional appearing men at my house. They made me feel like I had a major problem with my sewer and needed to sigh up with their service right then and there. They never showed me the broken trap they diagnosed and told me I needed an excavator and tear up my entire basement and yard to replace a broken pipe and trap. I spoke with the General Manager on my issue review on 5/9/22. We resolved our issue to my satisfaction. I will contact them again in the future should we have any plumbing issues.

These people border on fraud!! I had a simples basement sewer backup that needed rodding.i called roto rooter in *******,**,and this guy named Leonard came to fix it.right away,this guy was bsing me by telling me my sewer line needed replacement.he then took the easy way out and just rodded the outside front of my home.we went downstairs and the water level was still too high in my basement sewer.he said he couldn't fix that and charged me over $800.00 for substandard work.i next called a real plumber at *** ******** *** ***... read more

Had Roto-Rooter on 5/3 for service. After their work was told no sign at all of roots, went out 40 ft or pulling up any specific material. Helped w/flushing toilets and ran the sinks in basement. Charged $565 w/was told someone would come to check work w/camera and guarantee their work.
