Tried getting a car here 2 different times the first time I was just kind of browsing the second time was a serious offer. I had over 10% down payment and they turned me away both times because I’ve never had a car loan before they wanted me to pay 25% up front on a less than 10,000 car. The service at Rod Baker is excellent. They figured out the problem and corrected it. They kept me posted on the progress because my truck had to stay overnight. I picked up the next day and it was ready to go! It has been fine ever since.

I always had good service with Rod Baker Ford, I live in Marseilles, IL but still drive over 50 miles to get service done at Rod Baker. The service Manager has always taken care of my problems and the Mechanics are great
The 4 star rating is misleading because it mostly represents the service department. The sales department and Brett the manager, however, are definitely not 4 star worthy. They do not honor their word!! Being a previous customer, I called our salesman and negotiated a cash deal for a car for my daughter. Upon arriving to finalize the paperwork work, I was told that someone else was there applying for financing on that car and they would not honor my deal. Had an oil change done; checked the oil life monitor and it hadn’t been reset back to 100%, did it myself. 😑
They went above and beyond when I purchased my 2018 escape. This is my dealership of choice!
It took an hour and 20 minutes for an oil change way to long and I had an appointment price was 52.00 with taxes and disposal fees to much I will be looking into other places I have a 2014 Escape then when paying they tell me next time in I’ll need rear brakes for 200.00 minimum 36000 miles I say no way so person tells me could be the way I drive ugh! Very professional and good service! With the quarterly inspection they found a problem I did not know about. We scheduled service, they fixed it. Courteous staff. Really trust this place.
