My mother in law was on the orthopedic floor and the staff was horrible. Trying to get her blood and her arm so black and blue. Some of the nurses were down right rude and impatient with her. Very unorganized!
RecommendedI brought my daughter to the pediatric ED on Friday. There was a bit of a wait but I expect that in an ED. The nurses who helped me were so kind and patient. When my little girl was determined to need surgery, the surgical team could not have been more wonderful and kind to me. I had good interactions with everyone I dealt with, but I wanted to give a special thanks to the two nurses who were in post op with me- especially the one who stayed past her shift to stay with me. Awful! A Family member spent 9.5 hours in the ER at Rochester General on a Sunday night- laid in the hallway with more than 50 other patients- some of whom had been there for more than 48 hours! Disgraceful conditions and unfriendly staff. No food or water the entire time. He ended up leaving. If you want third world health care- this is the place for you.
Do not go to this ER ever. My husband spent 20 miserable hours there. Except for one nurse and one doctor he was totally ignored. The staff was too busy typing on their computers and talking about TV programs to pay attention to the patients.

I was just assaulted by three security guards at the hospital. After I was discharged, SO UNPROFESSIONALLY, from the hospital waiting on my mother, two security guards come following me because I was already upset about the discharge.
