In 1922, Giovanni and Virginia Biale left the town of Savona in Genoa, Italy with their three young sons, Giacomo, Mario and Rudolfo to make a new life in America. With help from a cousin, they made their way to San Francisco and settled in the Italian section of Potrero Hill. I was very disappointed with Rocco's today. As regular pizza causes me stomach issues I specifically ordered a gluten free pizza for myself. When I came home and opened the box, to my disappointment, it was a regular, not gluten free pizza. Also, the bell pepper on my husband's pizza still had a sticker on it!!!! That is unacceptable! This is not first time they messed up our order either. I used to be a big fan of Rocco's as their pizza tastes great, however, I won't be coming back any time soon, if ever.

I love this pizza place! It's one of my favorite pizza places! The ingredients are amazing and loaded heavy on their pizzas. The customer service and atmosphere is fleet family friendly. They even have a nice warm bar side of the restaurant. It's seems like almost every item on the menu is made to perfection. The only real issue is deciding what pizza to actually want!
