In 1922, Giovanni and Virginia Biale left the town of Savona in Genoa, Italy with their three young sons, Giacomo, Mario and Rudolfo to make a new life in America. With help from a cousin, they made their way to San Francisco and settled in the Italian section of Potrero Hill. There were 7 people in our group. My son has been there many times and raved about the food. We were seated fairly fast and our drinks and order taken. We had appetizers and they were great. We ordered our food no problem. Then as our dinners came 1 here 2 a little later until they all were there except my sons. Finally the waitress came over and was told we were missing one. It's been a while since we've had a Rocco's pizza but as usual it was amazing!!
We are there almost ever Sunday post Church and love the atmosphere (they play our kind of music) and the people. BYW, we adore the food at Rocco's too!

My pizza was so greasy it was gross. My co-worker's order never came out & our "group of 7" were done eating before the meal appeared (pre-arranged, made reservations work lunch). It's appears crowded, I just don't get it.
