I was referred to Dr. Boykin by another surgeon because my shoulder was so badly damaged. He was very informative from start to finish. I had hardly any pain at all after surgery and now I have almost complete movement. I couldn't be more satisfied with my results. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Boykin has A great bedside manner and he is very thorough. He has carefully treated my hip and has listened to my needs. My surgery and recovery went very well. When I have needed to follow up I have been able to see him and receive the treatment I have needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Boykin.
Had both shoulders done by Dr Boykin. He does amazing work and is committed to seeing that you are fully satisfied with your treatment.
Dr. Boykin provided the best care for my total shoulder replacement. From the day of my surgery to the follow-ups in his office and his recommended physical therapy, my shoulder feels the best it has in years with no pain and better range of motion. I'd highly recommend Dr. Boykin for any shoulder issue. (Kudos to Dr. Boykin's PA Joel as well.)
Dr. Boykin was professional, explained my options regarding surgery and reviewed the surgery procedure and findings with me on my first post op visit. i would recommend him to my friends

Dr Boykin has been treating me for several years for sports related injuries as well as age related joint and tear. He has successfully kept me away from surgery and provided pain relief via more conservative methods. The time will eventually come when surgery may be needed and I fully trust Dr. Boykin to care for me then, as well.
After being treated for several months by one Orthopedic Surgeon, I was referred over to Dr. Boykin, who found 5 more significant things wrong with my shoulder injury. He was able to answer our questions as to why I wasn’t healing as I should have been. I recommend Dr. Boykin highly.

Dr. Boykin replaced both of my shoulders with fabulous results. I was able to get back mountain biking without shoulder pain after healing. I recently had a very hard crash on my bike and have seen Dr. Boykin for this. The shoulder replacement held up perfectly and he is taking care of a clavicle and scapula fracture now.
