Please do not rent from them! – River City Real Estate is a poorly run company that has no resident retention because they DO NOT CARE about their residents, in fact the company refers to them as 'tenants' not 'residents'. Yes there are rodents because in an effort to keep more money in their pockets they do not regularly have pest control come out and spray their buildings as many other property management companies do. River City Real Estate...Don't believe the fake 'reviews' – I've rented from River City for almost 2 years. The first year I didn't have any problems and to be honest I couldn't see why everyone I talked to hated them. Be careful – Please ignore most of the reivews posted here, while some of the newer properties leased by River City appear to be in good living condition many of their properties are in very bad need of major repairs. Once maintenance requests are put in to have these repairs done they are often not followed through on and even more rarely fixed in a timely or effective manner. Thank You – I appreciate your honest feedback on River City Rentals. I am moving out of my current place and actually considered living in a River City unit until I read this board. RCRA is posting fake reviews and insulting their own customers – Most of the following reviews have been posted by River City Real Estate itself. The reviews continually insult and belittle tenants calling them deadbeats and losers. Most obviously the reviews target the individual officers serving the River City Residents Association. IGNORE FAKE REVIEWS – I've lived in TWO river city apartments. The first one wasn't *that* bad. Until they painted all the window exteriors and painted it shut. Then came the crazy a** neighbors, the peeping toms, the mugging in the parking lot. People walk their dogs on the grass in front of your building, not cleaning up their waste, and leaving a trail of fleas you track in on your shoes.
