Rude, incompetent thieves & slumlords! – RENTERS BEWARE! Nightmares will follow if you rent from these crooks. I would love to give River City Real Estate a negative star rating! I have never in my life been treated so rudely by such an incompetent so-called business. The apartment had numerous leaks from the roof and also pipes. Mold grew. rent at your own risk – I don't know how they get 4 stars on this site because they get an F from the Better Business Bureau. I don't recommend them to anyone because they don't return phone calls or take complaints seriously. I have never dealt with such a rude bunch of people. Even their COO only cares about defending the outrageous tactics of his employees

Never rent from River City -look them up-worst in the state – RIVER CITY IS THE WORST LANDLORD I HAVE EVER HAD IN 5 STATES, AND 15 APARTMENTS OVER 10 YEARS. Horrible experience – Let me first start by saying I am a professional nurse and responsible adult. Some of the other review sites try to make those that have negative reviews for River City seem as tho they are children with an axe to grind. These positive reviews are definitely fake(real tenant here) – I'm pretty sure the reviews that are positive on this board are fake, because here is my personal experience from them. They violated the VRLTA with me 4 times. The first time, was when I just moved in. I had no power, no working fridge, and no working A.C. for the first 11 days. Money grubbers – So I moved into an apartment of theirs, great location, great price, great size. I move in and it isn't all that clean, but not all that dirty either, but whatever right? Yet, when I moved out, I left it in such better condition than when I moved in. I cleaned so hard, yet the still decided to charge me $225 for cleaning it. Yet the place was spotless when I left. If I could give no stars I would... – I do not understand how what this company does is not illegal. I just got my "deposit" back, it was probably more expensive to mail me the check then the money that was in it. LIke previous posts they take out 300 dollars for no reason at all, then they charged me for cleaning?
