Power lines are dislodged from the side of my house and they won't even come out to assess the situation!!!! Say it's homeowners responsiblility...private electricians say it's RG&E'S responsiblility. No help at all!!!!!!
Gotta say worst power restoration time I've bin thru since Ice storm of 91. Everyone around is getting power but my neighborhood I look across to Jefferson rd lit up like a Christmas tree. Then driving thru penfield 15 trucks on side of road which only have 3 working the rest standing around. This is why we shouldn't have monopolies

Obviously RGE needs to upgrade its infrastructure. Wishing I had national grid right now. Why do I not have power when I live right off ridge road where everything has power. Baloney that there's no power. I've spent about 200 dollars on gas for my generator. I grew up in Syracuse with National Grid...we had 3 power outages caused by severe weather in the last 30 years there...it never took 5 or more days to get power back. Maybe 1 or two tops. We also have terrible TWC and Frontier here instead of Verizon fios like the rest... read more
