Unable to pay bill via the online system. Credit card online payment on date due does not post - no problem with my bank - received a confirmation email from RGE. If pay by check it is recommended by RGE to send payment 2 weeks before due date. RGE recommends to call and speak to a human to pay bill. Online system is worthless and thier customer service agents know it.

I called two hours before they close and was told I'd be on hold for 37 minutes. An hour later my call I was disconnected. I called back to used the service where someone would call you back and was told I had a 47 minute wait. So I called anyway while I waited just in case I might get connected faster. I was told I had a 27 minute wait. Never got a call back from rge, no one ever picked up the line. My bill was paid but my power was out. I wish we had other power companies to pick from.
The service for us has been okay, but I mean we have no choices but them so can't compare. However don't appreciate the rude worker who came out to start pur service today. Don't need to be lectured about the state of our under repair/renovation home thank you.
customer service is horrible I've been hung up on and stillwomt answers my questions...
