RG&E where our website is stuck in 2003, and we'll shut you off if you try to pay MORE than the "payment plan" we offer up as a shutoff prevention... Seriously, just told them I was paying MORE than their "down payment" and they told me it would still get shutoff unless I pay their set amount... In fact, I said I was paying off the bill over 4 weeks (instead of 6 months) and their response... the shutoff notice is still in effect (and less than a week after the notice was even sent.. Thanks for the heads up..)

All the reps always hang up on me when I call with an issue regarding- turned off my power because they were trying to charge me $400 for the apartment below me, and is ignoring the fact that I have told them multiple times they charged me $2000 because someone fraudulently put it under my name. When I filed a BBB complaint, the corporate office called me and told me to stuff it and didnt even TRY to resolve anything. What a monopoly pos.

Not happy with RG&E. When they hired a tree removal service to remove limbs and branches from and around power lines in the town of Brighton, the tree in front of my property looks hideous! I called to report it and no one had the courtesy to return my call. I’m sure they would never accept it if it were on their property.

When the big storm hit, we lost power for 5 days because the guidelines literally ripped out of the ground, the pole is leaning into the road. Due to that the lines were ripped off our house. Rg&e solution...attach to.thw maple tree and leave it. Numerous phone calls, complaints and yet no fix. They said before the snow melted in the spring they'd be back..beginning of april...were now nearly in June and no fix, but our poor maple is feeling the stress...

They keep uping my bill. I live in a mobile home getting charged as if i live in a 4 bedroom house with natural gas. Idk how I'm gonna be able to keep the lights on

The total and complete incompetence of the so-called customer service team at RG&E is absolutely ridiculous I've been arguing with them for over a month about a bill that nobody can seem to get right nobody's fixing and I about had it with all of them! Every time you call somebody tells you something different and it isn't even right because somebody else says oh I'm sorry that they didn't give you the correct information after the transfer you around 5 different phone numbers. When RG&E contracts Birchcrest to "trim" the trees, it ends up being a hack job. My property looks worse than it ever has. The trees were butchered yesterday. PLEASE GET ANOTHER CONTRACTOR that will do a good job.

I so sick of every time the trees wiggle the power goes out here! Doesn't really matter what I complain about on this site anyway's because they will never look at it. I wonder if I can deduct the time I've been without power this year from my bill. I'm sick of hearing about how the grid is in terrible shape......PUT THE MONEY YOUR STEALING FROM ME BACK INTO YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE!!!!
