In 35 years of business I have never experienced anything like this. We have had Revention for a few years after dealing with Diamond touch for over 10 years and then Aloha. Revention started out amazing and each year support has gotten worse and worse. We have the yearly support contract and still had to pay the $160 for each terminal for this Credit Card extortion fiasco. I have called and emailed and still no reply. The way that Revention is handling this credit card crisis is absolutely sickening. They claim that they knew nothing about the First Data changes, yet one of their support representatives told me about a 30-minute trial that First Data ran a few weeks ago that was basically a "warning that the change was really going to happen", as the rep put it. I have been trying for three days to get this credit card issue resolved without a call back. I have spent over an hour on the phone 3 times and left a callback # more than that. First Data says it is not a issue with them it is all Revention, just like the last two times this has happened, someone lied to me last time. A no response from Revention with me having $10,000 of credit cards left uncollected is where I am at and I pay for your updates and tec support. Unacceptable!
Been expecting a call back since yesterday at 10. Been on hold for over an hour today waiting to close out day and server checks as our cc system went down last night at 7. Not accepting credit cards today apparently, open in 3 hours and 40 minutes. WE ARE SCREWED.

Joe in tech support was awesome today. He fixed my problem right away with minimal explaining he could understand exactly what the issue was and fixed it so I could get back to serving my customers. This is the kind of people you need more of he was truly amazing.

Its all glitz and cool marketing. I have either been simply disconnected or placed in hold queue for 2 days now when calling customer "support". Each hold time surpassing the 30 minute mark. I should have known it would be this way. When the "trainer" from Revention came to our restaurant for the initial staff pos training, he had to call his manager to answer each question our servers had about the pos system.
